Susan Boyle, probably the hottest name on earth right now. Till date, 82 million viewers watched her performance on youtube, and still counting. I shall not post her video here as you have probably watch it or just do a search on youtube.

One of the judges of Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda commented, “It was a wake up call!” Indeed it was a wake up call for all of us. How on earth someone of that unassuming look possess the kind of powerful vocal that touches the world, grilling tears from the eyes of those who were laughing at her.

She is the icon of pursuing your dreams irregardless of any obstacles. She sees herself on stage touching people with her voice. Most importantly, she acted on it. How about you? Did you see yourself achieving something great in your life? And did you acted on it?

She truly believe in herself, truly believe that she can do it on stage. She doesn’t let her look, age, outward appearance hinder her walk to her dream. From her I see a true human being, living with not her body but her soul.

Her appearance really serves as a great wake up call for many of us. If an unassuming lady of age 47 can do it, what have we been doing? Are we like those who sat on the seat laughing at her but we ourselves achieve nothing in life?

A big wake up call for us. A huge reminder that we can achieve much greater things than we had achieved. We can definitely serve the world in a much bigger way than what we are already doing.
