Manifesting The Right Things

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

When attempting to manifest your desires, it’s easy to get mixed up between what you really want and the means for obtaining what you really want. After all, most of us focus on money, isn’t it? But really you don’t care about the notes. You are more interested in financial freedom, the ability to travel, and freedom from financial struggles.

It’s important to focus on our desires and not the means, for the means themselves are more difficult to attract. When focusing on attracting our desires, the means will naturally be attracted to allow us to reach our goals. Let’s look at why.

We think, generally, in a very logical fashion. We’re not used to jumping from A to C. We’re accustomed to moving through B. The problem is that when C is where we want to be, but we focus on attracting point B, we are not generating all of the emotional excitement and energy we could be using to attract our desire. Because of this, we have far more difficulty attaining our goal, and the process can be long and frustrating.

Have you really tried visualizing loads of money? Doesn’t that get boring fast? It’s difficult to do! That’s because the act of holding money isn’t that interesting. However, flying first class or driving your dream car is a much more interesting visual, is it not?

If you paint yourself driving your dream car, you naturally imply you have achieve your desire. By focusing on your end result, and attempting to manifest it, you will naturally attract all of the money you need to do so! This could be a very swift process indeed. However, this isn’t what most of us do. We fall into the typical old trap. We try to manifest the money.

The interesting thing about the Law of Attraction is that it can bring you anything you want. Regardless of how difficult it may seem, how impossible or how unlikely, you can have what you want! Since our minds are used to taking logical points, we are used to working our way from where we are to where we want to go.

Listen up, because here’s the magic. Focus only on where you want to be in the end. Focus all of your attention, emotion, and visualizations on your end result. Sit and determine what it is that you truly want first, so that you know that you are on track. Don’t try to manifest the money – manifest the mansion!

Since the natural progression of our physical world demands that you buy a mansion with a butt-load of money, guess what the Law of Attraction will bring to you? A butt-load of money, of course. The money, or the means in any case, is not important. The means will be there. You need to worry only about the ends.

Let the universe and the Law worry about the how’s. You worry about the what’s. By releasing the medium ground and allowing the Law to operate of its own accord, you free yourself of having to go slowly and painfully from point A to point B, then again from B to C. If you visualize C, B will happen naturally. Good luck and happy manifesting!

Start Your Attraction Engine

Monday, May 26th, 2008

It is difficult to get started with the Law of Attraction. Although mentally we may be very attracted to the idea of manifesting our own reality, these simple teachings fly opposite to everything we have learned and experienced before in our lives. Many people “try” the Law of Attraction, find that it doesn’t work for them, and then denounce it as a scam. The sad fact is that these people never really truly believed it was possible, and didn’t give it a fair chance. Their failure with the Law of Attraction was attracted to them in order to verify their belief that it was a lie. That’s the tricky thing about the Law of Attraction – it will bring you whatever you want, even if it gets in your way.

So how do you truly give the Law of Attraction a chance? It starts by suspending your disbelief. You have to really, truly accept the fact that it is at the very least possible that there is something to this “Law of Attraction” mumbo jumbo. Initially, I was in doubt in this process too. I struggled with the Law of Attraction. I managed to open up gradually, believing that it works for me. I started to attract small little success from the start.

Suspend your disbelief – go ahead and agree to allow yourself to believe something “crazy” for awhile. Really give it a try. Just do it! Practice visualizing your desires and your success without feeling any shame in doing so. Start thinking and believing that you can have anything you want, without feeling like a flake! The beauty of this is, if your heart is really in it, and you really want it to work, it will! Now the thing that was “crazy”, that you wish could have been true but wasn’t, really is true for you. But you have to truly take a leap into it, which means setting your old beliefs aside.

It’s amazing how old beliefs can control us. They can give us a sureness – an absolute certainty deep within our gut that we know what is true. The problem with the Law of Attraction is that it always is working, whether we believe it or not. So while you were living in your old belief system, the Law of Attraction was quietly at work behind the scenes, bringing you experiences and circumstances that further proved what you already believed at the time. When you suspend your disbelief, you give yourself permission to truly try something else, and that is where you will find the truth – that the Law of Attraction will prove to you whatever you believe, even if it’s the opposite of what you believed last.

By taking the leap, you will find yourself taking control of your life, enjoying your new abundance, and reawakening to the magic and beauty of life. By suspending your disbelief temporarily, you will actually be suspending it forever. You don’t have to believe that going in though, just give it a try! You won’t regret it.

Tuning In To A Greater You

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

The universe in which we live is one of infinite possibilities. There are literally no restrictions on what you can be, do, or experience. We place restrictions on ourselves, unknowingly. By breaking down our own mental barriers and belief systems, we can better learn to tune in to the greater realm of possibilities available to us as spiritual beings.

Breaking down belief systems can be frustrating. It can take a long time, and you will find that not long after, a new belief system has sprung up in the old one’s place. This cycle seems never ending at first, but eventually, after breaking down your systems of belief multiple times, you will find yourself feeling more open, more aware. You will have less need for belief systems, as in general belief systems form to assist us in navigating our daily life without thinking about things.

By increasing awareness, it is possible to bypass some of the time it takes to cyclically break down your beliefs. By increasing awareness, you become more present in the now moment, and more possibilities begin to open to you. When navigating thoughtlessly and automatically through life, we need to set up certain barriers and shortcuts so that we can move as quickly as we need to. In a more aware existence, this is less necessary. Everything you need is available to you as you need it.

The best method for increasing awareness is to learn meditation. In learning to meditate, you learn to silence the constant chatter of the mind, which keeps us rooted in the past and looking into the future. When this chatter stops, you find yourself calmly present in the here and now. It sounds anticlimactic, but you will be surprised to realize how little your focus has actually been in the now. The now moment is a breath of fresh air. It is the only true moment of time, that through which the future passes to become the past. Your only experience is within the now – you have been in the now all of your life. By learning to awaken to this moment, you will begin feeling the nostalgia of childhood, before you formed so many brick walls within your mind and solidified your beliefs about reality.

Practice breathing awareness. Simply breathe in and out, not fast, not slow. Become aware of the breath as it enters your body, turns around, and exits again. Some say that at the point of that reversal, between in-breath and out, you can find the truth of your being. Learn to pay special attention on this tiny gap. Find the secrets that are held within.

Meditation will bring a soothing calm into your daily life, as well as assist you in having more energy and clarity. As you begin to find the silence within yourself, you will begin to open to the truly infinite possibilities that await you. Good luck!

Law Of Attraction In 4 Steps

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

When getting started with the Law of Attraction, it’s easy to overlook some of the steps. When broken down, each little piece of the manifestation puzzle is very simple. So simple, in fact, that it can be easy to forget or underestimate one of the steps along the way. Let’s look at each of the steps and why they are important, as well as the nuances of how to put them to work for you.

The first step is to identify your desire. You must choose something that you want, preferably something you can get excited about. You need to choose a positive, and never a negative. So “I desire wealth” is fine, while “I don’t want to be poor anymore” will bring you exactly what you don’t want. Once you have chosen your desire, you need to begin placing focus on it, consistently, steadily, and repeatedly.

Secondly, set aside some visualization time each day. Allow yourself the freedom to fully imagine your desired outcome, whether it be wealth, a new house, or meeting the love of your life. Indulge in the fantasy as fully as you can, immersing yourself in a sensory experience. Be aware of the taste, smell, touch, sound and sight of your desire. Mentally walk through your home, hold your partner’s hand, have conversations with people in your daydream. Do anything that fires you up and helps to get you feeling excitement.

Thirdly, you have to let go and allow your desire to begin moving toward you. You need to give the universe room to operate. Involve yourself in other things and do not allow yourself to think pessimistically about what you are working on with the Law of Attraction. One positive thought is worth more than many negative thoughts, but if you keep a negative thought pattern, you will overcome the positive one. Keep your mind off of your goal and busy yourself with other things. When you get a chance, repeat part one to add energy to the attraction process. Do not worry or stress over the how or when of manifestation – simply trust in the process. This can be the most difficult thing for many people to do. The main idea is not to undo everything you worked so hard in step one to accomplish. This is easier than it sounds, but with the negative thinking some of us tend to engage in, it can be a real problem.

Finally, the fourth step is to allow your desire to manifest. Beware unusual opportunities or coincidences – these will guide you to your desire or desired outcome. The universe will synchronistically bring about the manifestation of your desire, and you will get what you wanted. The speed with which you move from step one to step three will improve as your trust in the process improves. Step two is really a learning process about getting out of your own way, and at the ultimate level, step one will be immediately followed by step three. The waiting period is only due to our own subconscious resistance to immediate manifestation, as it flies against what we currently believe is possible in the physical world.

Have patience with yourself and with the process. Allow yourself time to build up small successes so that you can begin to work on larger ones. The more you put this law into action, the better able you will be to manifest what you want. Best wishes!

How to Beat the Bad Day Blues

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Whenever you have a bad day for whatever reason, what you need to do is think. Think hard, but not about the misery or the misfortune that has hit you. You may be of the opinion, of course, the unfortunate events or experiences of the day are going to haunt you, put you under depression and mental stress, drain your emotions of their usual energy, kill your enthusiasm for life and spoil everything that you hold dear in life. In short, your negative thoughts may make your bad day seem worse than it actually is. Undoubtedly, that will be the case if you surrender yourself to the consequences, not otherwise. If you take control, you can devise ways and means of beating the bad day blues.

Since negative thoughts and emotions tend to overwhelm you on a bad day, you must think of strategies that thwart them. Turn to vigorous physical work out. Or, take a long walk or go swimming. Or, just get out into the open and sit somewhere and observe the plants and trees and flowers or the sunset, if it is sunset time. Read a pleasurable book, watch a funny movie or do something that distances you from the bad day situation, preferably both physically and, more importantly, mentally.

The good times
Remember the good ol’ days that enriched your life in the past, all the happy experiences that elevated your spirits and all those special friends and relatives who brought cheer and laughter into your life. Think of the good things of your life and be grateful for the blessings bestowed on you. Put against the bright light of your appreciation of all those better days, this single bad day or a small bunch of bad days will pale into insignificance.

Do not wallow in your bad moods and emotions because that is a sure way of plunging deeper into sorrow. A bad day will not become a good day by stewing over it. Remember that a bad day is just one passing day. It might have left a few scars on your mind and body but is important to remember that the pain is temporary. Time is a great healer. Today, just ignore the negative aspects of the day. Instead, look at the positive side of the bad event or happening that spoiled your day. Are there any lessons in it for your future? How can you avoid getting into the same or similar situation?

This does not mean that you start thinking about your purpose in life, your personal relationships, your career graph or your future on a bad day. The day is not suitable for taking any major decisions about your future life, because such decisions cannot be sound, given the dark background. Put off taking important decisions till a better day when you regain your mental poise and composure.

One simple formula that will help you on your bad day lies in the fact that your sorrows get divided and your pleasures get multiplied when you share them with your close friends or confidantes. You may try to overcome your bad day by discussing your problems with your close friends.

Any or all of these easy-to-adopt measures will be helpful in providing relief to you on a bad day.

How to Meditate For Peace

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Meditation is a powerful skill that can benefit your life in many tangible ways. To start with, the Law of Attraction is far easier to apply when you know how to block distractions during your visualization exercises. Meditation allows you to relieve stress, both in the moment and in general, as the effects of meditation will begin to bring you a more peaceful state of being even when you are not meditating. Meditation also allows you to stop negative thoughts, or to get out of loops of thought that distract you or keep you awake at night. It becomes easier to set your worries and fears aside, and you may even have a spiritual experience, allowing you to see beyond the veil of this physical reality.

So how do you meditate? To start, all you need to do is stop everything and sit down somewhere. Be comfortable, but not in a spot where you can easily fall asleep. Sit with yourself and become aware of the thoughts that your mind is processing. It may be difficult to just sit still, especially at first when your mental chatter can nearly drive you crazy. After awhile though, your mind will become bored and run out of things to do. If you can remain still when this happens, you will enter a state of pure being.

This state is still, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You will feel your concerns about the past and the future melting away, and only the present moment will matter. Your stress levels will lower and you may begin to feel somewhat euphoric. Don’t do anything, don’t think anything, and don’t judge the experience, just learn to sit and be. This is far more difficult than it at first sounds, and yet it is the simplest thing in the world.

All of the huge benefits of meditation await you behind this door, and until you can truly sit and meditate, you will not realize any of these effects. So it is crucial to get through the difficult part, which is going to be the first few times you try this. Your mind, your ego itself, is not used to being still, to being silent, or to focusing on the present moment. Your mind must reference the past and plan for the future, it must be busy and active, and in stillness, it dies away. So expect your mind to put up a good fight. You may feel discomfort, or out of control thoughts. You might even begin to feel like you’re sitting on a stove, and every cell in your body will want to lurch up and go do something.

Resist this until it stops, and you will find the beginnings of true inner peace. I can not stress the value of learning to be silent. There is a wealth of information and emotion within you that you do not have access to until you have become still. You may find yourself working through past issues that are affecting you. You may find yourself blasted into a spiritual experience. You may just find that sitting in euphoria is incredibly pleasant. In any case, your manifesting abilities and your spiritual side will flourish with the simple addition of meditation to your regimen.

Achieve Your Dreams With Simple Steps

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

How To Raise Your Energy Waves

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Your energy is that which composes your very essence, from your spirit to your physical body, penetrating all of your senses and encapsulating your mind and emotions. Believe it or not, you have full control of your own energy at all times. Most of us have not learned to control it, and many of us are so undisciplined that we never will. It is possible, however, to learn perfect control, so that your life is a living reflection of exactly what you choose to hold in your energy. A good way to get started is by learning some higher forms of energy practices and exercises.

Meditation is the bare essence of what you must put into practice in order to begin taking control of your energy. Simply put, meditation is learning the ability to simply be, to sit with yourself, mentally silent, and be one with your self in the present moment without any thoughts, worries, judgments or expectations. It will take awhile to work through the constant mental chatter that characterizes your daily mindset. You will have to learn to let that fizzle out at first, becoming accustomed to the feeling of mental silence. Later you will be able to quickly stop your mental ramblings whenever you choose.

Learning pure one-sided focus is the next step in developing yourself. By learning to concentrate on one thing for extended periods of time, you will begin to truly grasp the workings of the Law of Attraction. One-sided focus will allow you to manifest faster, which will begin to point out to you the fact that you are manifesting your reality, both the good and the bad, at all times. This will allow you to begin making better decisions about what you think and emote about, ultimately changing your thought patterns from a mix of positive and negative to a more perfected positive frequency.

Raising energy allows you to feel more alive, to actually pull more energy into your being for use in your perceptions, activities and daily rituals. You will be less tired, less negative, and more spiritual when you fill up with this powerful light energy. Raising energy is usually accomplished in a state of meditation, but once familiar with the sensations and habits of raising energy, it can actually be done anytime with ease.

So by learning to halt your mind rather than be controlled by it, as well as accepting a more proactive role in learning to be in the present moment, you will begin to accomplish control over what energy you put into your experience. Perfecting your focus will allow you to manifest even more quickly, and raising energy will bring a more positive focus into your life. When using these important skills together for an extended period of time, you will come to the point where negativity is entirely wiped out of your life.

Shift Your State In 5 Minutes

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Do you sometimes have a kind of down feeling? Maybe because you are tired or you just don’t have that positive energy. There are many little changes we can make in our lives that can shift that state. Turning onto a positive state brightens up your day, brings a smile and makes life that little bit easier to deal with.

Just by making the smallest changes and taking as little as 5 minutes from your day you could be surprised with the difference it can make. It doesn’t have to be anything outlandish, just something you wouldn’t normally consider doing. Here are some tips to help give you that shift of state and can be done whenever you are feeling out of sorts with the world or feeling a little down.

If you have 5 minutes to spare you can:
• Take out your daily goal planner and write something down that you already completed today and cross it straight off the list
• Take the weight off your feet and eat one of your 5 daily portions of fruit or veg
• Look at yourself in the mirror and pull as many different funny faces as you can in 5 minutes
• Read the comics in the daily paper
• Take a quick shower or at least splash your face with water
• Listen to an inspirational song, sing along with it.

If you have 15 minutes to spare you can:
• De-clutter your desk or an area of your home
• Treat yourself to a moisturizing mask
• Change into a favorite piece of clothing and admire yourself
• Do a few quick and easy exercises or stretches
• Read a few pages of a book or magazine you enjoy
• Make yourself a big fresh fruit smoothie, sit down and enjoy it
• Make a list of all the people you haven’t been in touch with in a while and schedule a time to call each of them
• Write down what you have enjoyed doing so far during the day in your journal
• Find a comfortable spot, close your eyes and enjoy the silence, sound of rain or chirping birds

If you have 30 minutes spare you can:
• Call someone you haven’t talked with in a while and catch up on all the gossip you missed
• Use your computer to look for ideas for your summer vacation
• Take a soak in a tub full of your favorite bubbles or skin softener
• Go to your local store and treat yourself
• Go for a walk and say hello to everyone you meet
• Turn off the TV, phone and anything else that could disturb you and sit down and enjoy peace and quiet for a half-hour
• Plan a quiet romantic meal
• Write a letter to someone special and mail it

Help! Law Of Attraction Doesn’t Work

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

Did you realize that the law of attraction seems to work for some people? It seems so easy for some to attract the things they want in life but it don’t seem to work for you. No matter how hard you try, you are having some difficulties attracting the kind of life or success you desired. Don’t worry, let’s go over a few things you should work on in order to begin seeing success in your attractions.

First of all, are you doubting yourself? Do you doubt that what you desire can be attracted to you? Most want to have a million dollars in their bank account, but when asked do they believe they can be a millionaire; deep down many do not really see themselves becoming one.

Some have thoughts like, “Oh, I can’t really have that. It would be nice, but I don’t deserve it” or “it’s not really possible” or “it hasn’t happened yet, why should it now?” This type of thinking can run in the background of your day, lending more and more energy in the manifestation of your desire not manifesting. Very counterproductive, but easily fixed. Whenever you catch yourself becoming negative, stop and turn your thoughts to something else entirely.

Secondly, are you telling everybody what you are trying to do? Choose the people that you are telling your plans. Sharing to the wrong people gives you negative experiences. Other people’s expectations and opinions about what you are doing may be affecting the outcome. You may be catching subtle clues that they expect you to fail, and therefore set up a situation in which you do fail. Maybe some of them actually put a lot of negative thinking against what you are working on.

Share only to those who are supportive and positive. Those who want to see you succeed provide you with the positive energy that you need to attract whatever you want.

Finally, are you focusing on your desires, or are you actually guilty of focusing on a stair step towards your desire? If you are trying to manifest money, you are very likely guilty of this. Money is meaningless. Freedom of time, energy, and the ability to have whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want is a true desire. Money is the means by which that desire may be met. Make sure you are focusing on the freedom of time or freedom from stress rather than on the money.

Also make sure that you are visualizing positives rather than negatives. Do not work on “I do not want to work any more”, as this only affirms that you will continue working. Instead, work on “My time is completely free and belongs entirely to me; I enjoy my freedom of time.” The Law of Attraction can’t distinguish a negative from a positive, and will give you whatever you focus on. If you focus on not wanting something, you are still focusing on that something, and you will get it.

If you begin working with the steps given above, you will find that the Law of Attraction is working for you. Finally, you can begin to experience the success you had hoped for. Good luck, and happy manifesting!
